  Power Plants:
The Lüleburgaz, Bursa, Ankara, Kayseri, Birlik Textiles and Yalova power stations all belong to the Zorlu Energy Group for the purpose of generating electricity and steam for the national network and the industrial enterprises which compose the group’s main customer portfolio. The Group also won a privatization tender held on March 5, 2008 to purchase nine power stations which will have a total installed generation capacity of 141 MW, from ADÜAŞ (Ankara Natural Electric Generation and Trade Co. Inc.).

  Hydroelectric power plants: 
The Group continues to work on the projects of three hydroelectric power plants. Preliminary feasibility studies for the construction of the Sandalcık (127.8 MW) and Narlı (82.5 MW) hydroelectric power plants on the Dalaman River and project design activities for the Tirebolu hydroelectric power plant which will have a capacity of 60 MW, are still carried out.

 Wind power:
Predominantly concentrating on renewable and alternative energy resources, Zorlu Energy Group is building Turkey’s largest wind farm in Osmaniye. The wind farm will be put into operation on a step by step basis beginning from 2008. The wind farm will have a maximum capacity of 135 MW in its first stage, which will subsequently be raised by 110 MW to 225 MW.

 Natural gas:
Zorlu Energy Group also carries out natural gas distribution activities. Within the scope of natural gas distribution tenders held for the Thrace and Gaziantep Regions, the Group both establishes necessary infrastructure and conducts distribution operations.

 Operation and Maintenance Services:
In addition to its cooperation agreements with General Electric, Chromalloy and Turkish Airlines, the Group provides operation and maintenance services for Zorlu Energy’s power stations, as well as for power stations located in Greece, Kuwait, India, Russia, and Israel.


Zorlu Energy Group carries out projects in the fields of electricity generation, natural gas, steam and wind power in Russia, Israel and Pakistan.

Russia
Zorlu Energy Group is constructing two electric power plants in Moscow:
Tereshkovo (340 MW & 150 Gcal of heat)
Kojukhovo (340 MW & 270 Gcal of heat)


Southern Israel
The Group is carrying out four different energy projects in the south of Israel:

Dorad Project: A natural gas conversion plant with a capacity of 800 MW

Solbar Project: A cogeneration plant with a production capacity of 100 MW of electricity and 70 tons/hour steam.

Ashdod Project: A cogeneration plant with a production capacity of 50 MW of electricity and 40 tons/hour steam.

Ramat Negev Project:A cogeneration plant with a production capacity of 100 MW of electricity and 70 tons/hour steam.

Pakistan
Zorlu Energy Group is carrying out project studies necessary for the construction of a wind farm in Pakistan with a maximum capacity of 50 MW.
