03-01-12 - Zorlu Energy Group collaborates with Vests for the first wind power plant of Pakistan
The Zorlu Energy Group, continuing its activities to build the first wind power plant of Pakistan, has reached an agreement with Vestas, one of the leading turbine manufacturers in the world. For the wind power plant under construction in the Jhimpir region in the south of Pakistan, which will have an installed power of 56.4 MW, the procurement of 28 turbines has been accomplished. In the turbines of 1.8 MW installed power each, the rotor diameter is 90 meters, fin lengths are 44 meters, and the tower heights are 80 meters. The Vestas V90 model turbines, to be used in the power plant, will start to be delivered to the Zorlu Energy group within the second half of 2012. .. |
